Children's Day in Hyde Park Village

The Gasparilla Film Festival announces its 2nd Annual 'Children's Day' to take place in Hyde Park Village on Sunday, November 18th.

In addition to a Children's Classic movie (soon to be announced), the day will be filled with incredible children's activities, featuring PBS origami artist, Leonor Rosser ('Origami with Leonor'), clowns, face painters, free music CDs from Putumayo kids, food and much much more.

The schedule is as follows:

3:00- 6:00 pm
Children's events

6:00- 8:00 pm
Classic movie screening

All events are free, and the event is operated by the Tampa Film Institute, a 501 (c) (3) corporation dedicated to film education and screening activities in our Community.

The Tampa Film Institute also operates the Gasparilla Film Festival, the largest independent film festival in Tampa Bay. The 5 day Festival will take place from Wednesday, February 27- March 2nd, 2008.
