WMOR-TV, known to Bay Area television viewers as MORE-TV32, is part of the Hearst- Argyle broadcast group. In 1996, Hearst Broadcasting acquired WTMV-TV, renaming it WWWB-TV and later WMOR-TV. As a pure play independent television station, MORE-TV32 broadcasts a wide variety of programming including comedies, dramas, reality programming and, as the Tampa station airing the most movies each week, has become the Tampa Bay Area’s More Movie Station.
Taking an active role in the community, WMOR-TV has received the Governor’s Award from the partnership for a Drug-Free Florida. Each year, the station sponsors and participates in the Guavaween Family Funfest and produces a summer-long campaign to help educate children and their family about water safety via an intiative called Pool Patrol. In addition, MORE-TV32 recognizes community volunteerism with the annual Caring More campaign.
